AUSTRIA IN A NUTSHELL
Austria in a nutshell
On November 25, 2017, on the eve of the National Holiday of Austria, under the slogan "Austria in a nutshell" project classes were held at school. The aim of the course was to introduce Austria to the students, its capital, geographical location on the map of Europe and to present interesting facts about the history and customs of this country. The project took place among students of class: 1c, 7a and 7b.
At the beginning of the classes children watched the photoblogs of teachers: Anna Wolikowska, Beata Kubiszewska and Beata Paszun from the stay in Vienna. The teachers had language courses as part of the PO WER project in the school year 2016/2017. The students had the opportunity to see the pictures of monuments and places of interest in Vienna. Then one of the students presented interesting facts about Austria. A short quiz about Austria carried out in groups was the test of acquired knowledge. During the classes, the children also learned the Viennese waltz and learned the basic steps. At the end, a sweet surprise awaited the children - a delicious Viennese cheesecake.
